Don't be fooled.
Mitch and China Joe are both deeply indebted to China so they will get along fine. Both favor themselves over party, as do most politicians.

He's one of the presidents who really does go to church. He also visits his son's grave. Now that you've spewed your venom, you don't have to be so grumpy anymore for a while.

You’re right. Precisely as gullible as T**** supporters beatifying Mitch when he was doing things they liked because they thought he was on their side.

Mitch has always been a shape shifter who could transform completely to fit into any situation in any way that would benefit Mitch personally. Now that he sees the disgraced and disgraceful Orange Vader being ostracized and shunned by social media, Corporate America, and a vast majority of Americans and getting ready to be buried in indictments and lawsuits, stripped of his assets, and imprisoned, he has magically converted into a Democrat Lite, a position he will occupy until he sees an opportunity to get a better deal elsewhere. Mitch will always go with the money. Follow it for details.

Gullible, indeed. Indeed.

People that hate Mitch do so for their own political reasons but Mitch has been a great majority leader in the Senate for republicans. His goal was to appoint as many right leaning judges as possible and he accomplished that. Obviously, Mitch was never a fan of Trump. He never went out of his way to support Trump before Trump won the election 4 years ago and obviously had to work with him once elected.
Give Mitch some credit. He's anything but a far right wing wacko like the kooks that stormed the Capital. Mitch is a law and order guy. He does things by the books as best he can given what he has to work with. That meant working with Trump. Now it means working with Biden and giving Biden the respect he deserves. Of course he knows Biden personally and they get along fine together though disagree on political stands, though not on everything. I'd bet my last dollar he's glad Biden won the election for the sake of the country.
Mitch is smart, a good politician and not a kook in any way. Mitch is a patriot. I hope he retires before the end of his new term for his own sake.

No, just no. Moscow Mitch is a serial obstructionist, enabler, and one of the sole reasons for which Trump was empowered to quietly decimate American stability along with our international reputation. He turned a self serving blind eye to a brewing fire - occasionally tossing dry brush into it - while ignoring the calculable outcome. Moscow Mitch exhibited 100% complicity with regard to Trump’s flushing of American decency down the toilet so long as he could fulfill his own Federal Judge appointment agenda. Moscow Mitch deserves no flowers, Trump just serves him no purpose at this point - even assisted in his loss of the Senate majority.

He's not abandoning ship. If he did that he'd leave the GOP. That's not going to happen. It's all politics and posturing. People have short memories. He knows that. He's very much GOP till I die.

Personally, I'm wondering what Mitch McConnell 'knew, & when he knew it?'

From that piece:

Quote:
"The mob was fed lies," McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, said on the Senate floor. "They were provoked by the President and other powerful people.."
Who were those "other powerful people"?

Granted, American people may never know. Although this piece may shed some light:

Mitch McConnell is a political genius and he held the true power for thr gop and not trump. Mitch McConnell used trump for his own personal gain. Donald trump was indeed a useful idiot for the gop. And was able to add 3 some what Conservative judges to the bench. The Dems must hope Breyer and clearance pass away soon or retire to put the courts in left hands again.
