Other countries have tried everything from masks to total lockdowns enforced by the police and armed forces. Whilst in terms of the true numbers in developing countries or authoritarian countries, they will never be fully known.

Whilst I don't agree with everything Trump did, it's a bit harsh to blame him for all these deaths, indeed protests by left wing groups at the height of the pandemic were even a factor.
Many Americans would not take any notice of the Government which ever party was in power, and a significant percentage of Americans may even refuse the vaccine.
If liberals had their way, they would force every person to get the vaccine, just like with regular vaccines its usually liberals who try to do away with religious exemption for people who don't believe in them.
What's going on in Europe is proof that Trump couldn't have handled it better. No other country is handling the virus better than the U.S. under Trump. Look at the massive numbers and deaths in Italy, the UK, and France. China's numbers were falsified and the liberal media will probably say its "misinformation" to challenge the official figures from the CCP. What liberals wanted was the California-style approach of shutdowns and mandates. And look at how California is doing far worse than anywhere else in the nation!!! Before this, New York under liberals like Cuomo was doing the worst. And now Cuomo says the economy needs to re-open, after he purposely wanted to hurt the economy expecting Trump to be blamed for it. Now that Biden is in office Cuomo no longer wants the economy to stay shut down.
The shutdown orders and mask mandates aren't really enforced that harshly where I live, and our case numbers aren't bad compared to California and New York.
Of course, you know that the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic did simply "die out" about two years later, right? One day it was just.... gone. But you knew that already.

If there was any wrongdoing involved with the Virus it was Democrat Governors and Mayors who have done all the unconstitutional lock downs and small business destruction. Plus they enabled and promoted the ANTIFA, BLM violence and destruction the entire past YEAR.
