Agree. I’ve never watched a presidential inauguration live. Some seem to act as if a president is a monarch or dictator. Some presidents also seem to think so as they use executive orders like laws but as we’ve seen with COVID, so do some state governors. For true checks and balances the courts and the legislature should have some form of authority to override a president or governor executive order.
