Republicans have taken gerrymandering to a whole new level, creatively carving up districts in order to give themselves an advantage they would never have had otherwise. I'm guessing you think that's perfectly though, don't you?
Nah, this has been going on by both parties for almost 200 years, indeed gerrymandering is named for a Democrat who perfected it. You are just hearing the one sided propaganda in the media.

Maybe you should look at district maps in Red VS Blue states and see which are the most gerrymandered.

A classic example was the 2011 Ohio redistricting, which ended up putting Marcy Kaptur (D-Toledo) and Dennis Kucinich (D-Cleveland) in the same district, causing them to have to face each other in the 2012 primary, and cost Kucinich his house seat (Kaptur won the primary and later general)
