Agreed. Thought it was really well done. I was hoping it went to 11pm eastern, instead of 10.
Was well done and could've easily geeked-out on more historical and/or recap stuff of the day.

Very near the beginning, I enjoyed the snippets of historic inaugural addresses, read by current people. Twice as much of that - or even more - would have been great.
[quote=ClaraC;60214580]Spectacular. Really, what an incredibly well-done production. And heartening. And patriotic - we will recover from this very, very dark period.[/QUOTE
Tom Hanks will be cussing, when he sees his Biden tax bill. Time to get rid of one house.
I agree. As much as I love seeing the ball gowns (haha), this was much, much better.
Maybe in the future, after we're all done with COVID, Inaugurations will still be done like this production, of going around the country, highlighting great Americans, seeing musical venues from different locations, etc. This was a better inauguration celebration than I've ever seen before.
I too miss the ball gowns but this was a great show...wow those fireworks!
One petty note...I do wish the singers would perform live and not lip synch! It was so obvious on several of them.
That said, I loved the montage of real people singing A Lovely Day during Demi Lovato's performance.
