So? Let her do what she wants. That traditional First Lady role always felt a bit contrived. I say good for her; I’m more worried about what the swarms of secret service agents will do for campus life. We’re I a college student, the last thing I’d want to be doing is worry about whether I’m gonna get tackled or shot. Feels like the opposite of what college (even junior college) life should be like.

LOL!

She's an excellent role model to give lessons for 60+ year old women who are married to a guy that has always been as dumb as dirt.

But now? She can add to her resume: How to Manipulate the Idiot you Cheated With To Do Anything, No Matter His Obvious Cognitive Decline, Man.

Jilly got a small taste of fame for the 8 years she played 2nd fiddle to Michelle. She was not happy in DE, teaching a bunch of community college kids that couldn't get in to a 4 year college - who didn't care that she was Joe Biden's wife OR some ex-2nd lady because they never heard of her or her husband.

Now she's going to make sure those community college kids know EXACTLY who SHE IS.

Come on, man.

What is this "low bar"?

CNN didn't keep you informed?

Sigh. I'm trying to make an effort to avoid whataboutism. Threads like this make it hard.

Hopefully "Dr. Jill" will think of the students and faculty before she thinks of herself. Not a chance in hell of that, but whatever.

Also? NVCC is a typical community college. Not a 4 year residential. Not even a suitcase college.

Due to Covid, classes are, apparently, all virtual. But her dementia ridden husband will fix Covid in no time, so her 69 year old ass can get back in to the classroom ASAP.

She's doing her teaching work online. No security required for that.

Why not? That is how we referred to our professors whilst we were in university.

Were your professors the first lady at the time?

Strange way to backpedal. In a classroom a professors other designations don't come into play. It would be appropriate to call the professor "Dr." rather than "First Lady". There's no precedent that allows for either to be incorrect.
