really? Controversial pardons on the way out are a Presidential tradition. Not saying they are a good one but Trumps are relatively mild compared to some. Obama for instance pardoned some real winners and when Biden is on his way out he will pardon his share of winners as well. The rules on pardons and when they can be done should probably be looked at but both sides consider it a perk and benefit so unlikely this is going to change any time soon.

I would hope they. Hanger the process after this year, only those recommended by DOJ should be allowed.
