Mcconnel changed the rules for the Supreme Court.

Reid did for other appointments.

actually the only thing mcconnel did was take the SCOTUS exemption off of the reid rule

In November 2013, Senate Democrats led by Harry Reid used the nuclear option to eliminate the 60-vote rule on executive branch nominations and federal judicial appointments.[1] In April 2017, Senate Republicans led by Mitch McConnell extended the nuclear option to Supreme Court nominations in order to end debate on the nomination of Neil Gorsuch

and it deals with appointments...not laws...for example the budget is still required to have 60 votes unless the legislative process of reconciliation is used

Agree. One reason that I thought Trump was close in the election was that the other guy always looks great... it is always easier to get elected as the "upstart" rather than the incumbent.

When the democrats go right ahead and do a lot of things that are just plain crazy... most people will see what a horrible mistake they made.

Patriots should just quietly make strides

1. Getting involved in voting.
2. Convincing others to vote their way.
3. Getting social media platforms outside the touch of google / facebook.
4. Getting Patriots involved in media.
5. Getting Patriots involved in teaching.
6. Getting patriots involved in film making.

Let the democrats go full cray cray, we can put it all back when we are in power at midterms.

Remember they have one democrat senator who was a Republican a couple years ago. He’ll be a balance.

Shutting down the pipeline is so idiotic...then you're using railcars.... Increase the gas tax instead and use the proceeds for wind and solar projects. Makes more sense.

What Reid did, directly led to what McConnell did.

Instead of the left moving the starting point to McConnell, maybe they should leave it with Reid, where it belongs, and take it as a learning opportunity.

In other words, if the left dumps the filibuster, they are opening a Pandora's box, just like Reid did.

I know it may not feel like it now, but the democrats will not be in control forever. What they do now, will have a direct effect on them when they are in the minority again.
