[quote=Sunnyskies1999;60220173]Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez sounded average at best.[/QUOTE

Who would you have proposed sing in their places? I thought both did better than Garth Brooks, who was flat, lacked expression, sang the first verse of "Amazing Grace" twice, and eliminated all the other verses other than the "ten thousand years" verse, normally the last or next to the last if the first verse is repeated as the closing verse. I thought his blue jeans were inappropriate for the occasion but maybe they were/are his typical stage-wear. I thought it was nice that he invited the others present to sing along on the first-last verse, though.

But - he also sang respectfully, behaved like a gentleman, and had every right to sing there since he was invited to do so, a high honor. Ditto Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez (they behaved like ladies, not gentlemen. Probably ought to just change that to gentlefolk for all).

Huh. You must have been at a different inauguration with Gaga and J-Lo imposters.

For now, that is.
The day will come that I will hang it up and watch this younger generation, with everything handed to them on a silver platter, figure out how to support not only themselves and their children, but all the rest who refuse to lift a finger to contribute to society.
Then and only then will the proverbial s*it hit the fan. By then, it might be too late, and freedom and liberty - the very principles that this great nation was built on -will be a speck in the rear view mirror.
You sound like a miserable old p.....oh wait....

Why would I want to watch the inauguration of a corrupt lying criminal politician who sold this country out for his own and family's personal gain?

Whoopdy doo. I didn't watch it either, because I was busy. But no one cares, and this is all insignificant. No one gets points for watching or not watching. Get a clue, get a life.

I hope that Biden will be a one term President. I do not like Joe Biden. If this offends some readers, I apologize. But I have to be honest. I'm not a Joe Biden supporter.
I get that. I never watched Trump's and didn't watch him when he spoke over the years. I'm not offended at all. To each his own.
