It's nice to see a state so ahead of it's time!

There's a bunch of lefties on reddit who blasted Noem for not wanting to allow hormone therapy or surgeries for "transgenders" under the age of 16. If that's people's idea of progressive count me out. Such big life altering decisions shouldn't be made or done by minors. Different states for different philosophies.

Hmmm. That's actually a decent strategy to keep the libs out. I hadn't thought of that one because, although I have my opinions, I don't really think much about that sort of thing in a legal sense (because I tend more toward libertarianism most of the time). BUT... yes, that's a great way to help keep the state free of the liberal disease. Kudos to ND.

You're saying this and you live in that dump we call, "Ohio?" Hilarious.

Toledo, Dayton, Cleveland, Youngstown, and on and on. What a dump!

You obviously don't know how Fargo has been growing and changing.

However, from experience, I will speak for North Dakotans for a minute here: please keep this attitude and talk going. Whatever you do, don't tell your friends to check out North Dakota. Tell the that the Cities are are much better and they'd be crazy to even consider moving to ND, SD, NE, rural western WI. I beg you.

North Dakota is trying to make sure that their best and brightest young people keep moving to Minneapolis to get away from their crazy right wing parents.

Peace and quiet? Hope their homes are well built because the howling wind is always present. The nice thing about ND? If your dog runs off all you have to do is stand on a beer can to find it.

Reminds me of the movie Lone Star - the crazy sheriff says that up north you have to work hard all summer to get ready for winter or you will die! No chance of goofing off and having fun.

Down south you can just wait for the next day and enjoy life.

That is why I like the beach.

Me too!
