She appears to be open, honest, and willing to answer any question. I realize this is the first full day of the Biden Administration, but I'm hopeful that this Administration is getting off in a positive direction.

The objective of 100 million vaccinations in the first 100 days seems overly optimistic, but any plan is better than the lack of planning we have had to this point. Biden said today that the death toll from the pandemic likely will top 500,000 next month. Every day of delay in getting people vaccinated will result in hundreds, if not thousands of unnecessary deaths.
Honest? Nope, she lied almost immediately on day 1 claiming there was a Muslim travel ban.

Open? Nope, weasel word diversion from the only one question fitting of a WH press member.

1 million a day is overly optimistic? Nope, just a slight increase on current rates when you would expect a big ramp up as expertise in distribution continues to grow and now that Amazon has magically realised they may be of assistance. He is trying the old under promise/over deliver strategy and the left will lap it up. It is already written.

The number of people receiving a first dose has averaged close to 1 million per day over the past week so it might be possible to vaccinate 100M in 100 days. There are numerous issues. Is the supply available to maintain that rate? The other thing that worries me is the fact that we have been vaccinating the easiest people to vaccinate, health care workers and people in nursing homes. These people were easy to schedule. We are already finding it is much more difficult to schedule the remainder of the population, especially when there is a question about vaccine supply. I was scheduled for a vaccine tomorrow. They had to postpone the vaccine for most of the people because they only received 200 doses. Until the supply issue is stabilized and mass vaccinations are occurring all over the country, I will remain skeptical.

BTW, I don't know who you are referring to with your comment, "and the left will lap it up. It is already written." I don't consider myself left or right, liberal or conservative. I don't think the majority of people in this country have a clue what these terms mean. Most people have never been exposed to an actual discussion of political theory.
