The hate America Party is in control for now. They will do everything they can to bring us down and promote foreign, globalist interests in the name of being progressive. ALL lies of course.

Public schools aren't needed to exclusively teach patriotic American History and traditional ideology. Parents, and ESPECIALLY grandparents can. DD gave oldest grandson books on the founding fathers and signing of the Declaration of Independence. I gave him a set of books on American Presidents and Famous Americans I had has a kid (unfortunately, it only goes up to Lyndon Johnson). We read them together, and he's full of interest and questions. Hopefully, we're laying strong groundwork before he gets to college and exposed to the influence of some "hate whitey/GD America" professor.

Granted, my grandson doesn't attend public school, and his third grade private school curriculum doesn't seem to contain any of the Woke propaganda.

Twisted, white supremacist history has no place in children's education.

Nobody's promoting that but you have to lie to try to make a ridiculous point.

No blacks or women signed the Declaration of Independence. So we need to "cancel" it, cease teaching it, and pretend it never occurred?

Everything's getting canceled lately.

I should probably gas up my car and move to Canada, only problem is I don't like snow or cold.
So I guess I'm stuck, LOL

I am not sure what a few posters mean by calling Trump supporters liberal or socialist. What you are proposing is idealism...ideology, which may result in not allowing multiple viewpoints. Free speech is being able to share your ideas using evidence that others may not agree with.

In schools, evidence has a particular meaning. If it didn't, students wouldn't be able to be assessed on this point. Teachers can use any text to teach the standards but they shouldn't just use one text or use multiple texts with the same viewpoint. This is because their students will be assessed using multiple texts with multiple viewpoints.

So if a teacher is teaching based on her ideology, she won't be preparing her students for standardized tests. It doesn't matter if she is a liberal, a socialist, a republican, a democrat or a Trump supporter.

Why do we constantly have to keep reminding everyone that Canada is twice as woke as here, only a more broke and less opportunity version

Biden is just quicker about it than most, kudos to him for that. Trump was flailing around during this period in his administration, IIRC.
Trump had no clue how anything in the government worked when he took office. He was a quick study, though. By the time he left he had figured out how to get from his bedroom to the OO and back all by himself.

Joe had eight years under his belt, and had been planning his agenda for the last six months or better. He did things on his first day immediately after the Inauguration that he had promised to do. Everyone is going to be astonished at how much “Sleepy Joe” gets done in his first 100 days.

You can’t beat experience for streamlining an operation.
