Biden is a centrist. Always has been, always will be.

Centrists utilize ideas across a wide spectrum. There are more than 2 sides, which Trumpies simply can't understand and won't acknowledge. But they exist. From liberal to moderate to centrists, to independents, to constitutionalists, to libertarians, to conservatives, and on and on.

If one can't understand that, one will never understand this country or how it was founded and what underlying principles are the foundation.

Instead of complaining, read the U.S. Constitution. Pick up a history book or better yet, use those online search skills and learn about the 244 years of U.S. history.
Okay, first off, Biden is no longer a "centrist" or a "moderate" no matter how many times you people say it. That's just the truth and it's easy to see if you are actually paying attention. The man has moved pretty solidly over to the left over the last 15 years or so. Second, even if Joe Biden is not a "radical left" president, he is surrounding himself with people who are rapidly moving in that direction and he will be taking his cues from them. At this point, he's just gotten into office, and no one can predict just what his presidency will be like for the American people. But if he runs this country the way the House and Senate Democrats want it to be run, we will definitely be seeing just how far left Biden is willing to go. And the American people will suffer for it. In the end, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. No history book you can read can prepare us for the times we are living through today because sadly, people stopped learning from past mistakes a long time ago. And in my opinion, that's goes double for the Democrat party. Just my opinion of course. I could be wrong.

He is doing exactly what the folks who elected him wanted him to do. Lead. So far nothing really radical either.

Christians are some of the most generous to non profits. The left only cares about one thing - POWER.

As for me, I don't want either left or right in total control. I think the best form of government is a balance.

The best form of government is one that assumes that each individual has the capacity for effective self-government. How long has it been since Americans could, as a group, truthfully be described as having the capacity for self-government? I saw this disappearing, beginning in about 1960. Only when we can govern ourselves can we hope to have a real relationship with any larger kind of government.

Democrats/liberals are supposed to be 'progressive/radical'?...but it was under Obamas term as POTUS, that some of the toughest drug laws in history were created? (the opioid prescription drug laws of 2012)!! LOL

I concur.

Under the Left, because they embrace tolerance and diversity, you are free to be yourself.

Under the Christian Right, you must conform to their Ozzie-and-Harriet white bread lifestyle ideals. They are authoritarians. If in power, they will pass laws to openly discriminate against lifestyles that don't conform to their vision of morality.

We have not seen a actual left wing president in decades. Seriously. Most folks here have this definition of far left that in many countries would be viewed as centrist. Universal healthcare for example is a centrist views in most countries. Here? Far left. The truth is that by most metrics worldwide Biden IS in fact very centrist.

I am paying attention.

You would because you still live in 1982. There is no Christian Right anymore, at least none with any power.

The radical left is not running the country. The moderate center is running the country, now. But I understand that people on the radical reactionary right consider the current government to be far left. Heck, they even consider center-right Republicans like Romney as far-left.

Biden has always been a leftist....

FDR was a radical leftist

B. Clinton was a leftist, who understood you had to work with the center and right to take the baby steps to the left, his wife H. Clinton is much farther to the left than he was/is

Obama was/is a radical leftist, and although he did not like working with the center and righties, hedid understand you need baby steps to move to the left

the last decent Democrat President was Truman
