Of all the absolutely disgusting things the democrats have done, none even comes close to this!
Democrats, after pi$$ing their depends in mortal fear over a few guys wandering around carrying a podium around. So...without ANY thought of cost, or consequences, The dems order 25 thousand national guardsmen to protect THEM.
And then openly and very publicly question their loyalty and honor by disarming them, telling the world that they MUST be vetted due to having NO TRUST in men THEY DEMANDED DROP EVERYTHING to protect these liberal scum. And if thats not bad enough, Force these men to sleep in a god*** parking garage!
This is so beyond the pale of disgusting behavior that i am so angry i can barely see straight! And i heard something about Pelosi demanding belt fed machine gun nests set at the perimeter to mow down citizens (though i cant confirm that)
It's obvious that you haven't lived under communist rule for very long and don't understand how things work. You'll figure it out will armed SWAT teams knocks down your door and take all of your guns. Soon your bank account will be drained. Welcome to today's America...

Strange how no Republicans offered their offices to the troops during their downtime. Why is that? No appreciation whatsover. Do they resent these troops for stopping their planned overthrow during the inaugural? Could it be because they have nothing to worry about from terrorists because they actually are the terrorists?
Per the Politico article, several lawmakers offered their offices. Do you have a link as to who those lawmakers were?
And then there's this, also from the Politico article; "And Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) noted that the Capitol complex remains closed to members of the public, “so there’s plenty of room for troops to take a break in them.”
Despite that bivouacking in a parking garage is pretty 'soft' compared to the desert, the jungle or the woods ..... minimal comforts obviously need to be provided such as latrines and square meals. Tradition is '3 hots and a cot' is luxury.
Mostly this political brew-ha-ha is just that. With some basic needs met, these soldiers can tolerate a lot rougher than a parking garage as quarters.
Their quarters are in hotel rooms, this is their break area.
Well, for those who thought bringing 25,000k guardsmen (during a pandemic) to DC to face a nonexistent right wing threat was perhaps a bad idea (beyond the issues regarding lefty riots in the other coast) it can’t be a surprise over 100 of them just tested positive for covid.
It was the Capitol Police who moved them to the parking garage for breaks and they all have hotel rooms to sleep in so quit the pearl clutching. It was Democrats who had the Capitol Police rescind the order and move them back inside.
