That's a story just about no one is buying. Liberals in the Republican party get along swimmingly with libs in the Democratic party.
The conservatives in the Republican party want Trump out along with his liberal followers. Democrats don't want Trump because while liberal fiscally, he's a bit of a populist on social issues. It will be interesting to see where he lands.

Yeah if you think establishment Republicans like Liz Cheney are the "conservatives" .

If you say so. I didn't make that conclusion, you did.
My point was really around the fact that conservatives in the republican party will not accept liberals like Trump and his followers anymore. And the democrats don't appreciate Trump's populist attitude towards social policy. So he's on his own in terms of parties. Perhaps a third party with liberal fiscal policies and populist social policies will rise up and support him or he'll be independent. We'll see.

Well, since Trump is very much alive and committed those heinous acts against our nation just this month, Congress definitely has the right to hold Trump accountable for inciting domestic terrorism. And since Trump was the sitting president when he incited the attack, impeachment is the constitutionally prescribed remedy for a nation that has been aggrieved and betrayed by her own president. I’m not sure why this is a difficult concept for some.
Impeachment is for removing a president from office. Not to go after the man after he lost the election and has already left office. You go ahead and support this third world banana republic crap, go full Stalinist for all i care.
The next four years is looking be full of hate, vindictiveness, vengeance and heavy handed partisanship, that we will all regret. This will be a path down road we as a nation will not easily be able to turn around from.
As a Republican I do not understand why the Republican senators will not Censor him from running again. They are tryin to be a voice for people that don't vote anyway. Saying this as a former Trump supporter

Impeachment is separate from removal of office. There's a handful of ways a President can be removed from office. Impeachment is one way that paves a path for this but impeachment in itself, is not "for removing a president from office" as per The Constitution and existing precedent.
