Even if that made sense, this would be someone chosen by the right-wing to implement sound political policy? A "crank turner"? Someone who pretends to adhere to insane conspiracies to muddy the water!
It seems obvious that these beliefs are so loathsome to folks like yourself, that you have created a narrative that it is some brilliant trolling maneuver.
That pretty much says it all! Not unlike thinking Trump had some brilliant deal-making, business strategy to fix all our problems. Then it turns out he's just a dimwitted tyrant with no plan at all.

Some opinions are so loathsome that they should not be espoused or broadcast by publicly elected officials. I would put Sandy Hook and Parkland shooting deniers in that category.
I don’t care if MTG, as a private citizen, embraced those nutty theories. I do care when she is an elected official, and the worst part is she continues to espouse those lunatic ideas and has not retracted or apologized for it.
People like to think that "everyone is entitled to an opinion".
The author Harlan Ellison is quoted as saying, “You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.”
I prefer to say, that while you may be "entitled to an opinion", you are not entitled to be respected for a poorly informed one.
The thing is, she's likely no worse than most of the "people" she represents. Thankfully a couple of nuts like her and boebert have little power by themselves.
