If one does research there are many Republicans states that spend just as much per-capita as states like New York and California.

Republicans in general aren't libertarians. I think it is interesting how many Democrats think libertarians are Republicans, that is not the case.

I don't consider Donald Trump exactly a libertarian.

I personally hope that Biden sends the price of oil skyrocketing because North Dakota, Wyoming, Alaska get lots and lots of tax money.

Just because one is a Republican, doesn't mean they object the government spending.

North Dakota can compete with the best of them when it comes to spending. Even though North Dakota spends $4,000 more per-capita on government spending. Many in North Dakota were blasted the Governor Burgum's budget.

A chief financial officer for the state said "“We’re down to the meat and bones of the budget." in North Dakota.

California: 227 Billion
Popualtion: 39 million
Per-capita spending $5,820

North Dakota 15 bllion over 2 years: 7.5 billion a year
Population: 763,000
Per-capita: $9,842
