167% isn't a rounding error.

The School administration is being proactive understanding that, and acting promptly.

Math is not political.

Can’t rep you again.

Thanks. This is horrific. I did watch the videos about 12 year old Hayden, in full. This is not an anomaly. I fear how many more suicides of children we will witness, far in excess of the tragic annual rates, pre lockdowns, children committed suicide at.

I am single, no kids, but can't turn my back on the Haydens of this nation.

Soooo...government schools are now good for mental health?

Oh Team Red, admit your love of Karl and get it over with.

You and I both taught at-risk students that may have downright terrible homelives and are at-risk, perhaps suicidal. We both know COVID or no COVID it happens. Sadly there are many right now that see suicide as a means to a political end of re-opening and then will not talk about it again. When I've said that, I never singled anyone poster out. There was one who cussed me out and you being offended that I wanted to know your intentions were in the right place. The post that you replied to with this should have shown that I would say they were. And I would be glad to talk about it with you.

Thanks but this is not just my circle. I don’t know if you have school age kids of your own. The poster who got angry with you does and so do I which is likely why both of us responded emotionally. This hits close to home and it’s extremely frustrating to hear a people claim that it’s not happening or that we have ulterior motives for bringing it up. This is a serious issue and one that many kids, teens and parents of kids and teens are dealing with due to the isolation of covid.

I'm just not into this notion that you sit on your hands when the government does something that negatively impacts you.

My brother's kids go to Clark County Public Schools (I've tried like hell over the last few years to get him to pull them to no avail). He's generally apolitical but believes in the legitimacy of the State.

In any event, he and his wife have made sure that their kids are involved in all kinds of stuff with the Covid disruptions.

Never trust, rely, enable, or otherwise acknowledge the government. It's bad for your mental health.
