I can hear China Joe now...C/mom man....this is unnecessary roughness my first couple of days in office. Gimme a break.

My guess is they have all but severed ties with Hunter since they got what they were after. Now, they just hold the blackmail cards.

The main problem for China would be international condemnation and trade sanctions.

The western world imposing trade sanctions would seriously hit China, and would put an end to a lot of it's global ambitions.

Taiwan would also be no push over, it has regular and reserve armed forces totaling 1.8 million and they have some western armaments, and there would be heavy casualties on both sides as a result, whilst other nations such as the US could be drawn in to the conflict.

The invasion of Taiwan would be a stupid thing for China to do, both in terms of global relations, trade and even of starting a potential global conflict.

Buckle up and tighten your chin strap, it's gonna be a bumpy ride for a while. China knows they now have a huge advantage and they will continue to use it. Can't really blame them since they bought and paid for it.

It’s a good thing that Taiwan has a strong military and they’ve spent 70 years preparing for an invasion. They are dug in and fortified like you wouldn’t believe.

Many experts don’t believe China has the amphibious capability to take the island without destroying the whole thing while suffering catastrophic casualties in the process. Basically, the cost is much too high to take Taiwan.

All this is an excellent deterrent, because if Taiwan is counting on and needing Dementia Joe for help, they are sadly mistaken because he absolutely won’t help them.
