This is encouraging news. I don't think people realize how engulfed many people were into the Q world. It was a make believe world that had loads of conspiracies that ranged to how COVID was fake, to Donald Trump arresting many dems & actors who are pedophiles, and to Donald Trump remaining president (these are just a few of them-- there was a lot more).
As a former republican, if they want to win again they are going to have to move away from the Q type theory world. Its false, made up nonsense. In the future stick to facts.

As someone who voted for President Trump, I had never heard of all that Q stuff before, except on here. I am tired of people saying that all Republicans are Q people. Most of us had never heard of them before, only the fringe. The media is doing their job by making them seem like the majority.
You sound like a good person. I'm very politically moderate. If you viewed any sort of social media since maybe April you probably have seen these stories/videos without realizing it was Q. They were viewed and shared by many people. Besides the ones mentioned, below are others (there are more). They were usually creepy videos that painted our way off life is under attack and only Trump was going to save the day. On the videos it would never say "THIS IS Q"... but go into the details of the topic immediately. The Q person was supposedly someone in Trump's office that would give "drops" usually on social media.
Covid was faked by Dr. Fauci- he went to China to meet with scientists and created it there
5G technology was used to spread Covid
Videos that "displayed" election rigging
The MSM was a co-conspirer into the COVID world, BLM and anything against Donald Trump
Biden is scheming with China: China is in Canada and could attack at anytime
I've often said if the republicans want to win again they will have to move away from Qrazy. Critical thinking and analyzing are very important skills that many have lost.
They sound like a bunch of lunatics. i do not have any form of social media, so that's probably why I had never heard of them. Although I will say I believe there is something to the MSM conspiring against President Trump. Just look at the difference in the attitudes of the reporters in the press conferences between the Obama administration to the Trump administration and then the Biden administration. It is night and day.

Trump hates the media and they hate him. But he brought this on to himself first IMO. Do you remember in the very first debates Trump had in 2016 (with Republicans)? The name calling he had for the Republican competition and then the blowup with Fox host Megan Kelly? These were all examples of the classless style of this guy. He’s a bad dude and brought most of this on to himself.

No not the media. Your party is embracing them. Remember trump saying that what he heard about qanon followers is that they are very much against pedophiles. He praised them. The gop now have two qanon following congress women. One who believes school shootings are hoaxes. And she gets rewarded by mccarthy by being named to the education committee.
While the majority of the gop may not be qanon adherents the majority are qanon enablers.
So because we have two congresswomen who buy into this stuff, that means the party is embracing them? Just because the Democrats have the Squad, does that mean their party is embracing them, too?
Yes to a point. Here is the difference the squad are more or less socialists.. Being a socialist is not necessarily evil. While it may end badly it is based on good intentions. Call it naive. In the case of qanon that is pure hate and is evil. To call others satan worshiping pedophiles and cannibals is quite stark. If you can not see the difference well we can just agree to disagree.

Great news, hopefully the same can happen to those who gobble the corporate press without critical thinking skills. Qanon is as much fiction as the corporate press, including Yahoo. Hopefully Yahoo will next have an article on how to deprogram from their own propaganda; explains why they removed their comments.
I haven't heard Democrats mention any Q conspiracy theory as crazy as the stuff the New York Times prints.
