It could? But they won’t be as immediate as currently available energy jobs. The latter seem a bit more important given the current economic climate.

Investing in “climate” jobs is probably a good idea in the long term, though.

The problem is trying to make what should be a long-term investment out to be something with immediate benefits. Ain’t so, Joe.

I suspect he knows better, but due to the current political climate, this is the kind of thing he has to do for posturing purposes.

As usual, someone of the ruling class gains points while us plebes lose jobs.

So when is China Joe going to confront China on their predatory dumping practices???
Truly free markets only care about profits whether its oil or tobacco companies, waiting for corporations to address climate change is wishful thinking. This sure beats the the prior administration searching for subsidies for coal fired plants and telling coal miners that theri jobs were coming back.

I'm sure it will create some jobs, just not sure on what kind ? Will they be skilled or non skilled ? It's one thing to see a six figure job replaced with another six figure job, seeing it replaced with a minimum wage job is the problem.

What would the US get for this risk? 50 jobs and the crude is exported straight out of the gulf port to other countries. Canada cannot export via frozen ports during colder seasons.
you don't think they are pumping oil there now? What's one more NEW pipeline going to do?

Thank God, no.
Just can't answer a question that makes your guy look bad, eh? I always love seeing lefties twist themselves in knots to defend the indefensible.

So your surprised that Biden backed off Keystone, the same Keystone that Trump resurrected after Obama cancelled.
