Playing up a broken gov't that's being stolen from you to the people who think it's their right to overthrow corrupt gov't is signing death warrant for the accused. All Trump showed me was that it would be surprisingly easy for for strongman dictator to rally an uprising based on nothing but lies. And Cruz capitalized on that.

There's nothing more Trumpian than shaming a bartender...especially one that probably made more money than most Trumpers could ever dream of.
While AOC tends to be ridiculous, a crowd that was driven with such fervor that many might have attempted to hang Mike Pence would have killed AOC on the spot, or at least physically assaulted her. Ted Cruz ginning up those folks makes her statement valid. If AOC was doing the same thing with Anti-fa or Communists while Ted Cruz was onsite the argument would apply. These people think some of these politicians are literal demons from hell, not even as an exaggeration. I could never hate on anyone that much personally.
