When you say John Kerry lectures everybody else on carbon emissions, what do you mean? Can you be specific? What sorts of policy is he pursuing?

You do realize that John Kerry is now the tax payer paid Climate Czar, right?? How about leading by example.

How can you complain about emissions when you are flying from state to state or country to country in a private plane? It uses about 40% more emissions than a commercial flight.

How can you complain about rising sea levels and then by a 15+ acre property on Martha's Vineyard (an island)?? Not sure of the exact size of the house but the one he had previously was about 5600 sq. ft.

How can you tell us that we can not drive a gas powered car while you are flying around in a private plane burning more emissions in one trip than my car does in a year?

They sure do not lead by example.

Sounds like leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures is foreign to them.

But like most rick folks, how much is enough? How many houses/planes does one family need?

But, the houses were already built and sitting there.

And when DH was working in corporate America, those guys at the top had their own elevator. They couldn't mix with the hired help. And, the hired help thought that was great. One day, they too, might have a private elevator and dining room.

It's just a really weird hill to die on. If John Kerry uses his platform and private jet to get a carbon tax passed in the U.S. (for example), did his "example" actually matter?

We get it.. the democrats preach it to the common folk that they have to sacrifice but they get to leave an enormous carbon print and don't give a damn about the environment because they come first.

I can't say this surprises me at all but reading it, I was surprised to see that his wife actually owns a private jet charter company. So much for the carbon footprint, particularly when you add this to the yacht and the houses.
Vehicles are the highest emitter of carbon. Good for Kerry for minimizing his carbon footprint!

Why is it always the billionaires, the most high carbon using people of all, who are lecturing everyone else about their carbon emissions?
The billionaires want a planet that is 99.99% in poverty, while they will live in their own exclusive gated enclaves, owning all the world's resources.

You will own nothing and you will be happy! GREAT RESET.

Researchers are not billionaires. Listen to the science on this one.

You will be in poverty if everything you own is destroyed by floods, drought, hurricanes, tornados, etc....

What happens if John Kerrys hypocrisy leads to people questioning the need for a carbon tax, and they vote in a republican majority who overturns the tax.
Maybe if the dems lead by example they can get a compromise.
