Merrick Garland is widely known for being moderate and centrist. Idon't think that'd be a cause for crying on either side.

We saw what happened when Obama did this, Democrats lost 63 House seats and 6 Senate seats at 2010 midterms.
Do that in the 2022 midterms and then impeach Biden a couple of times.
