My taxes went down and the economy was functioning better than ever. Raise taxes on corporations and they just build those new plants (and hire people) in countries with lower tax rates.

There was NOT a surge of corporate expansions in the USA after the corporate tax rates.

There wasn't.

The economy continued to grow at a similar pace it had been growing at for 8 years before the tax cits/
