Read the full thread. He also responded to Tim Pool by saying people should have bought shares in the Market while the economy was collapsing.

Can people just put a stick in this guy? How do conservatives defend him when he exclusively defend international finance and deindustrialization.

Of course he does.

Is anyone surprised?

Not all conservatives support him. Is it fun to watch a 5 minute video of him destroying people's lame arguments? Yes. But that is not "supporting him".

I've never liked him. He's a snake in the grass.

Boomer cucks seem to really like him - so you'll have to ask them why they support that shill.

This whole "who are you going to believe" perspective is very largely a leftist phenomenon, with their centralized collectivism and insistence on compliance with expert generated "politically correct" narratives.

Intelligent, freedom minded, independent thinking individuals - which is very largely a rightist phenomenon, with the emphasis on liberty and all - feel comfortable picking and choosing arguments by different people and rejecting some of their ideas without feeling a need to "cancel" that person or to reject their observations altogether going forward.

If you are a leftist, that second scenario probably sounds pretty weird, and it is almost certainly not a description of your current mental approach to the world of ideas and the people who generate them.

I am a rightist and I think Ben Shapiro is a very clever man who intellectually has a lot to offer. I agree with a lot of what he says. But he is wrong about this.

What about when these same hedge fund types go on CNBC or wherever and promote their stock picks - in much the same way that these retail, small-time traders on Reddit have been doing - although with a megaphone that is orders of magnitude louder? They have been doing this for decades, right on television for all to see.

No human beings are right 100% of the time, and that includes Ben Shapiro. He is still alright by me.

Couldn't make it all the way through that but it sounds like a classic case of Selection Bias.

He's not a conservative. He has a different agenda that overlaps with a conservative agenda in several regards.

Never "supported" him, but cannot deny he is on point often.

In this case, I disagree with him.

But I am wondering, when did this trend that if we agree with or even support someone, that means we agree with them on 100% of everything they say and do? And vice versa, just because someone dislikes or does not support someone, or disagrees with them on numerous things, does not automatically mean they will never agree on a single thing from them.
