While i am not for impeachment how is it unconstitutional? Impeachment is derived from british parliament practice which absolutely allowed for impeachment of former officials. Part on an impeachment to to bar the convicted from holding public office again.
That should be up to the voters !!!

After the fact, its obvious that Clinton, even though he committed a crime, did not commit "high crimes and misdemeanors" and should not have been impeached for lying about doing an intern under the Resolute Desk. President Trump committed no crime any time he was charged.
Impeachment should be serious. Pelosi is old enough to remember the Watergate hearings. There's no excuse for her running a clown show. Or Schumer. Maybe some of the younger members are ignorant of history, but not them.

Strange that you would think inciting violence to overthrow an election is not.
Whether it got out of hand or was planned from the get go, there really is no question about who lied about the election, assembled a mob, then sicced them on Mike Pence and legislators in order to overturn the election.
Now ask yourself, if Republicans caught Obama in this, would they have let him go on without a public airing of the evidence?

I have an honest question about disgraced former President Trump's second impeachment trial. As we all know, this is the first time a President challenged election results to the point of a terrorist plot to change the election results. This is the first time a former president is being impeached to prevent them from running again. Precedent will be set by this case whether you talk having the reason to impeach, an impeachment to disqualify a presidential candidate, or the result.
So I ask, conservatives, Republicans and Trump supporters, would you support a Democrat doing the same thing as Trump has done?

IMO, it was MORE for LYING IN COURT UNDER OATH that got him impeached.

Let's get back to the issue. The Constitution says the MOST severe thing an impeachment can due is removing someone from office, PERIOD!
Trump is NOT IN OFFICE, so what do they expect to do?
2. The constitution also says ONLY THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT can preside over the impeachment trial. From what I have heard Roberts says he will NOT preside over the so-called trial.
How is Trump "disgraced"? You throw that word around rather freely.
