Hah - what a joke. Compared to the previous self-centered, name-calling, lazy, know-nothing ignoramus seditious extortionist wannabe dictator who couldn't be bothered to read more than two sentences if his name didn't appear in one of them - much less speak coherently - Biden is Einstein.
This is beyond hilarious. The MAGATs could only WISH the prior occupant had 10% of Biden's brains.
But keep casting stones. Jealousy, much?
Hilarious.
I have to agree. Did they even listen to their Dear Leader?
A third grader had a bigger vocabulary. And more self-awareness.
Some of that is stronger words than I'd use to describe the economy, but is still mostly accurate.
We didn't need the Trump Tax Cuts. You don't cut taxes when the economy is great. And it was great. Here is what the economy looked like at the beginning of Trump's term:
4.7% Unemployment
12% yearly stock market gains
2-3% GDP
By many measures, that's a healthy economy. It was NOT the time for tax cuts. The economy was doing just fine when the Bush tax cuts expired (which was essentially a tax hike). That economy survived sequestration in 2013. Those that may have lost jobs due to lower federal funding levels must've found jobs elsewhere, since unemployment continued to fall. By all measures, that was a roaring economy.
We didn't need tax cuts then. Trump fooled his supporters into thinking we needed it. And the main benefactors of that tax cut were the wealthy and corporations.
In the end, the tax cuts started to balloon the deficit. The average yearly deficit under Obama was $910 billion for his entire term - but only $540 billion in his final term. That's not a small number, but it pales into comparison to the average Trump deficit: $1.532 trillion average yearly deficit. It clearly started to rise the moment the tax cuts went into effect.
Here's some numbers to chew on:
2013: $680 billion deficit
2014: $485 billion deficit
2015: $438 billion deficit
2016: $585 billion deficit
2017: $665 billion deficit 2018: $779 billion deficit (Trump tax cuts active this year)
2019: $984 billion deficit (That right there is your ballooning debt to drive economic growth)
2020: $3700 billion deficit
The Obama Administration LOWERED our deficit spending. Trump raised our deficit spending. And the Tax Cuts seemed to drive it.
^^ - This cannot be repeated often enough. The highway robbery of our Treasury, subversion of our fiscal welfare, mortgaging of our future FOR NO GOOD REASON, coupled with the destruction to our institutions, and erosion of street cred worldwide, has severely weakened this country in multiple ways.
But what can one expect when a narcissistic know-nothing is elected and given the keys to the kingdom and the spineless sycophants in DC who REALLY DO KNOW BETTER do nothing to stop him.
Biden and his team, thank heaven, are restoring order and sanity, but it may too late. The barbarians are at the gate.
Oh, pay no mind to the seditious right wing. They are looking for ways to destroy - BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THEY DO.
DESTROY.
Leopards don't change their spots.
They hate government and do not believe in democracy. Ergo, they do their best to undermine and destroy it. Nasty innuendo and wink wink comments are all part of the schtick.
Wow! Are you ever confused! It's the left wing that is "looking for ways to destroy".
Coming from a distinguished medical professional like a former White House stenographer, this is chilling.
From watching Joe speak off the cuff recently, this is utter nonsense.
If you spent time with someone on a day-to-day basis, you would notice when that person is losing it. You don't have to be a doctor to see it either. What you won't know is the cause of it. It could be dementia or Alzheimers. It also could be a medication they are taking. That's why a physical exam is needed.
Whatever is going on with Biden, it's very sad that no one in his family seems to care. Jill obviously doesn't care because she wanted to be FLOTUS.
McCormick misses the point, but of course he would, he's an ideologue; hardly impartial his views are highly partisan. Americans had a choice between Trump and his views and Biden's. Trump at full strength destroyed four businesses, two marriages and inherited an economy that was the envy of the world only to squander it and leave 400,000 dead and unprepared. Biden at half strength is better than Trump at full.
You clearly don't know that all successful people have gone through bankruptcies and business failures. Stop acting like Trump is the only one to have experienced that. What was wrong with the economy when he was president? Things went south when the virus came along. Stop pretending otherwise.
