All of the MAGA heads are supposed to be for bringing jobs back to the US, and yet they freak out when AOC comes out with a line of apparel that is union made in the US because it's "too expensive." Well, guess what, you are going to have to pay a little more for something made here. That seems to be too much to ask for the cosplay populists.
Why don't you know AOC chased away almost 40,000 high paying jobs out of New York when she fought Amazon over taxes. Even Cuomo can't stand her. "It's a shame a politician has to put her narrow minded philosophy ahead of the needs of her constituents."
AOC never claimed that she was “bringing jobs back.” That was all the Trump people.
While Trump gets his Flags, sold to the dim minded, from CHINA.
Exactly. They will criticize AOC for everything under the sun but won’t even acknowledge that Trump doesn’t make an attempt to manufacture in the US, despite his rhetoric.
Do you understand what margins are? When she points out that her sweatshirts are American made and not imported from China, what do you think that does to the margins?
Apparently better than you do. I think she is making good money on these sweatshirts. They are priced higher than other similar products I can find online. Kevin was right. She is a businesswoman at heart. A big ole capitalist that uses socialism/Marxist ideas and identity politics to gain power. You and millions of others fall for it.

Not only do you not understand margins, you don't understand campaign finances. AOC isn't making anything from those sales. Those are campaign funds and can only be used by the campaign, for the campaign.
Second, they are priced higher bc the labor cost is higher. That's what's happens when you make things in America.
Third, there isn't a single'"socialist" in American politics who's opposed to private businesses profiting. So pointing out that "socialist" AOC isn't really a socialist is doing way more to help her than hurt her.

You are still missing the point of the article and my comments. It was not as the OP asserted that conservatives were making fun of her. In fact, they are applauding her for making in USA. The point was that she lives and breathes the socialist mantra and yet she is charging above market prices for her plain sweatshirts with a simple monogram on them. And yes, I said ABOVE MARKET PRICES. If you look at other made in USA clothing similar to hers, she is typically above those prices. It seems she has a larger than normal markup on her products. Now if she wants to be transparent and tell us what is costs her to make each on that would be great. Either way, She is far more a capitalist than she makes herself out to be. Or the alternative is that she is using capitalism to fund her socialist/Marxist agenda like China has and is doing.

You think $68 is expensive for a small batch, American-made sweatshirt? A sweatshirt from the Gap cost $50-60, and that's mass produced, foreign-made.
A niche label w. American-made sweatshirts is going to run you $80-100. And that's not even premium brands.
She's not benefiting from scale. She's not benefiting from labor. So where exactly are you expecting her to cut cost to lower her prices, which are already lower than comparable sweatshirts?
