Sanchez, the California congresswoman has taken the lead in putting together a group of seven women, who she described as “workhorses,” who will shepherd the legislative efforts to get President Joe Biden’s immigration reform bill through the House of Representatives.

"Reform"? Here we go again. It's not reform it's amnesty for millions illegal alien lawbreakers and a path to citizenship for them. Why do they want to reward these people? Americans need their jobs back and we need to put some respect back into our immigration laws.

Note that Sanchez and a couple of others are ethnically connected to those here illegally? No ulterior motive there though?

In the midst of housing crisis, unemployment issues along with the virus ie what is coming across the borders legal or not.

Other than that when one is frontman they usually do wind up laundering policy for others.

Not only does Biden and his cohorts want to open the border for more illegal aliens and so-called refugees but they also want to make citizens out of all the ones here already. I hope a class act lawsuit is filed against the whole of them. They are not only violating our immigration laws by refusing to enforce them but aiding and abetting to.

President Reagan already paved the way for them to give the illegals amnesty and citizenship when he did the same thing years ago for 3 million illegals. Of course back then, it was pitched as, "We won't let this (illegal immigration) happen again".
"...in 1986, Ronald Reagan signed a sweeping immigration reform bill into law. It was sold as a crackdown: There would be tighter security at the Mexican border, and employers would face strict penalties for hiring undocumented workers. But the bill also made any immigrant who'd entered the country before 1982 eligible for amnesty..".
How'd that work out.

It didn't and Reagan lived to regret signing that amnesty. Liberals think we should make the same mistake twice only this time it would be for quadruple the number of illegal aliens.

And? You'd rather crash the US economy just to make a statement?

Relax. It isn't going to crash the economy. Do you still really think, despite others explaining it over and over, that all the illegal aliens will disappear overnight?

Besides, any businesses who deliberately used cheap, illegal, exploitable labor are diseased businesses and need to die.

I've been here for years. Not a single one of you has ever explained how you plan to remove the millions of undocumented people in a way that doesn't crash the economy. But I'll give you credit bc at least no one is suggesting the dumb idea of bussing then all of like y'all used to.

So what's your plan? Gradually throw out 11M people over 10 years?

And replace them with who bc that's going to be the other side of not crashing the economy, from a producer & consumer angle.

Removing as many illegals as possible would have a positive effect on hourly wages. Businesses would have to increase hourly wages to attract additional workers. A lot of the under the table jobs would disappear. Some prices, in areas such as construction jobs, would also increase.

Any amnesty would be a slap in the face to any potential immigrant that followed current US immigration laws. We have to stop rewarding illegal behavior. It only creates more of the same.
