Do you drive 350 miles every day?

Solar panels don't work when you park the car in the garage or under a tree.

It would depend on how much you pay for electricity.

No about 550+ a day in my tractor trailer ok so lets say every 3 days you have to plug in. So how long does it take to charge your electric vehicle? I can fill my 30 gallon gas tank in about 5 minutes and be on my way. Also back to range that's estimated and varies based on level of charge , terrain and driving style. Still if i forget to plug in before I go to bed I have to wait hours for a vehicle to charge to go a long distance. If I'm low on gas i dont have to wait just run down to the gas station and head on my long road trip.

The bigger question-does our power grid have the excess capacity to handle a massive influx of EVs?
I don't know why we ever switched from horses.

They were wrong all the way around.

GM plans to eliminate all passenger vehicles from its lineup that use gasoline and diesel by 2035, and offer nothing but electrics. The change that has been predicted for the last 25 years is on the way. There are a lot of people now who are saying that they will never give up their petroleum powered vehicles, and that GM will go broke if they try to change over completely. I personally think they will be proven wrong as well. GM will be around long after all of the naysayers are gone. You can't stop progress.

I bet you aside from the ones that aren't driving because they're six feet under or didn't though. Not many cars left with a full length driveshaft. Camaro from GM, Mustang is really it for domestics isn't it?. CT5 and then of course the foreign car companies.

Most of them are probably doing what most people are doing and driving their FWD-based crossovers.

We'll see. I suspect the 2035 date comes and goes. I wouldn't be at all surprised if a majority of the market is EV by 2035 but I would be surprised if it's entirely EV.

StoreDot, an Isreali company, has just come up with a battery that can be charged in five minutes.

It's predicted fast charging batteries will be mass produced within three years.
