It's one of the many odd behaviors of the ultra right: They take what they personally have "seen or heard" - or the lack of it - as gospel truth.
They also simultaneously claim to never watch "fake news" CNN - but then constantly refer to what they saw (or didn't see) on CNN as proof that CNN is "fake news."
Meanwhile, in reality, CNN is pulling out of airports, so Fox could very easily increase their presence by paying airports to broadcast Fox News 24/7. No government interference; no suppression of "free speech;" just business decisions. Which the ultra right used to be
