She herself committed no abuses. She doesnt control the military. And their atrocities against the Rohingya were done to weaken her, either domestically or abroad, depending on how she reacted.

Their current move against her is likely emboldened by her diminished international reputation. And perhaps by a wink from China

They used Dominion machines too!

Birds of a feather...

April 2015 - Icons bid for power: Aung Suu Kyi and Hillary Clinton are facing a huge task

Now both stand at uncannily similar junctures. Both have declared – Hillary only this week, Suu Kyi more than a year ago – a desire to become president. Both seemingly got a head start from those close to them, Suu from her father Aung San, Hillary from Bill. Both enjoy massive fame at home and abroad, though their vociferous supporters are potentially matched by powerful opponents.

...
At their first meeting in November 2011, it is hard to know which of the two was more in awe of the other. But the sisterhood of these ambitious women, perennially balked, bullied and betrayed by the male establishment, quickly melted the barriers. “We were both wearing white,” Ms Clinton wrote in her memoir, Hard Choices. “It seemed like an auspicious coincidence. After so many years of reading and thinking about this celebrated Burmese dissident, we were finally face to face…I felt we had known each other for a lifetime, even though we had just met…Soon we were chatting, strategizing and laughing like old friends.”

Birds of a feather Part 2

March 2012 - Statement on George Soros’s Visit to Burma

George Soros and members of his family visited Burma from December 26, 2011, to January 3, 2012. Soros visited Burma in his capacity as a philanthropist and supporter of open society around the world.

...
Prior tzo and following his meeting with the president, Soros met with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. Soros and Aung San Suu Kyi held a wide-ranging discussion about the reform process underway in Burma.

“My foundations have been supporting the democracy movement for 20 years, but this was my first meeting with Aung San Suu Kyi. I have been and remain very much guided by her vision in my involvement in Burma,” Soros said.

-----------------------

January 2020 - Alexander Soros in Myanmar a week before Xi's visit

It says that Thein Sein and George Soros met in 2012 where the latter helped with education and health projects. In 2013, George Soros met with the president and Aung San Suu Kyi as well as other ministers. The book also stated that he only ever met with Aung San Suu Kyi and other ministers at Nay Pyi Taw's Myat Taw Win Hotel where he stayed. Again in 2014 and 2015, he met with the president again, later meeting with the author Soe Thane himself - asking the author to request of the president for appointing Thaung Tun as the minister to go around the world to invite investments in to the country. That request was rejected by the president later, according to the book.

The book also goes on to state that on January 13, 2017, George Soros again came to Nay Pyi Taw to meet with Aung San Suu Kyi and the next day, Thaung Tun was appointed as the National Security Adviser.

Send the Capitol rioters to Myanmar to fight the military regime if they want their sentences commuted. This will give them an idea of what the fight for freedom and democracy really is.

No, amazingly the demented guy has already accomplished more than his predecessor did in 4 years.

Twitter and Fox News are apparently huge time-suckers.

I am also a supporter of free and open societies.

You aren't?
