Ok. Now impeach all the Democrats who egged in the BLm rioters. Impeach Kamala Harris who had a bail fund for them

That is putting it VERY mildly.

I have no doubt that we'd be in full blown civil war, if that were the case. I actually expected it was going to happen when Trump won.

Maybe we should be thanking the Democrats for averting an all-out, hot civil war? A silver lining to the hurricane size cloud of fraud hanging over the country right now?

If that is true then he should be tried in criminal court.

Sedition is a serious felony punishable by fines and up to 20 years in prison and it refers to the act of inciting revolt or violence against a lawful authority with the goal of destroying or overthrowing it.

It’s doubtful that a criminal court would convict based on available evidence. That’s why Pelosi and crew are trying to push the impeachment. It’s their best shot at punishing Trump and his supporters. It isn’t a much better shot than criminal court considering the split Senate where at least 45 senators understand constitutionality, but it’s a better shot.

The trial should have happened immediately but given the circumstances, there simply wasn't time to have a trial between January 7th and January 20th.

If Trump is "acquitted" now, it's not because he isn't guilty.

In the US, I believe our constitution requires proof/evidence of which there is none^^ to back up your claim. Another scare in the trump lovers who also hate our constitution.

Be sure to tune into the impeachment trial. They will include all of trump's inciting words and will leave out nothing.

My personal opinion is that we pay politicians to do a job, that job is to enact and uphold laws. What form that takes is up to them, but wasting my money on a trial that is symbolic puffery is a waste of the money that I'm paying them.
In your opinion, holding an elected official to their oath of upholding the constitution is "puffery?" Wow!

I am good with trying trump as a private citizen along with those who committed felonies at the Capitol (be careful for what you wish for). Remember Charles Manson? He never was onsite for any of those crimes or murders either.
