How? Where are you seeing this in Media, Entertainment, Education, Government, Social Media, Tech or Corporate America?

Be specific. Where?

Read your history books and note the percentage of prominent figures that are white. Whites are already over-represented.

And why is that? Because they accomplished most everything? They aren't over represented. They are just represented. Would you rather lie and not reflect reality? Guess so.

How did you determine that? Perhaps the concept of what counts as an accomplishment is based on what was valued by those in power, which were mostly white. The U.S. doesn’t exactly have a good track record of racial equity.

Every day is White History Day, especially white heterosexual male history day.

Genocide of native populations
Slavery
Imperialism and coloniaism
Patriarchal oppression of women
Oppression of poc and other minorities
Imposition of white western cultural values on minorities
Creating inherently unequal and oppressive government, legal, and economic institutions
Destroying the environment for economic gain.

The list goes on.

Filled with hate much? White peoples are responsible for all your troubles? Need someone to blame but yourself? Outside of slavery you have no proof for any of it.

Genocide of native populations - it wasn’t genocide, not even close. What hitler/Mao/Marx/Stalin did was genocide. This was war and war sucks. You do know that native Americans were killing each other before Europeans even landed and took various sides in the entire 200 year history of the formation of this country.

Slavery - only about 7% of whites owned slaves at the height of slavery. Africans captured and sold African. I guess black Americans should hate Africans just as much or more than whites. Then there is the little fact that whites died to end slavery. You don’t get to pin slavery on all whites.

Imperialism and coloniaism - Just how it was. War sucks. I bet Hong Kong wishes Britain would have held on to them.

Patriarchal oppression of women - in some circles yes this has happened, but it is way way over stated. Women have been a large part of society and have benefitted from their unique position and power over men since the beginning of time.

Oppression of poc and other minorities - people of all colors have been oppressed over the history of the world. No one in the US is being oppressed. Far less than in other countries. The primary oppressor of poc In the US is the welfare state.

Imposition of white western cultural values on minorities - Proof? I don’t know of any white person who walks into a poc home and tells them how to live. Does America tend to favor one culture over another, sure. That would be expected in a majority white country. I would not expect Africa or Mexico to prioritize American culture. Seems like you are just whining on this point.

Creating inherently unequal and oppressive government, legal, and economic institutions - for the most part this is false. You are listening to your woke masters that want to keep you in hate and oppression. There are some instances like school funding that I agree needs to be changed to be more equal. However, no amount of funding will fix the problems in the inner city schools.

Destroying the environment for economic gain. - in the past potentially but this has to been the case do 4 decades. Conservatives believe in keeping the environment healthy as well just not going overboard with it. We could also talk about the hypocrisy we see from the liberal led tech companies who manufacture all their stuff in China, a country known for huge pollution not to mention human rights violations. The left has no moral high ground here.

You post shows maybe we do need "white history" to counter the "anti-white history" narrative.

Most people have no idea that it exists, so ....

The ones that we get more or less crammed down our throats are things like Black History Month. I don't really have a problem with the concept. Black people have every right to be proud of their heroes and celebrate their accomplishments. For some reason, they deleted several of them. Aunt Jemima is based on the real life story of Nancy Green, one of the first freed slaves to become a millionaire. As nearly as we can tell, Uncle Ben was a rice farmer who was so good at his craft that he set the standard for excellence in rice production. Ben and Jemima had to be deleted, but I've never seen a good explanation why. For some idiot reason, BLM even tore down the statues of Jefferson Douglas, Abraham Lincoln and many heroes of the abolitionist movement. But if you want to tout the accomplishments of George Washington Carver, Jackie Robinson, Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Martin Luther King Jr., etc. then good for you.

As for white history month, I'd never heard of it till somebody on this forum said that it exists.

I don't think we need an anything "_____________" history month.

No black history month, no LGBT history month, no Hispanic history month.

All of it seeks to divide us.

And I am VERY pro-White. As many know here I am very far-right leaning.

Do away with all these "history months" and put back up all the Confederate monuments that were torn down. And while we're at it tear down every street sign and monument to the womanizer MLK.

Well to start, there are numerous recent examples of rules about appearance in schools and workplaces that penalize black students/employees for simply having their natural hair. Second, non-white sounding names have continuously put people of color at a disadvantage. Study after study has shown that people with non-white sounding names receive fewer callbacks on resumes than people with white sounding names (same goes for people reaching out to real estate agents, landlords, and property managers). Both of those would certainly count as the imposition of white western cultural values on minorities - basically, if you want to be here and go to school, live, and work, you have to look like us and sound like us. Are you arguing that that's OK and should be expected in a majority white country?

I'm wondering if you've spent much time outside of the U.S.? If you have, you'd know that in many countries where the vast majority of the population is not white, white American culture is often embraced with open arms and white people are treated better than the native population. I've experienced this in India, Turkey, Tanzania, Rwanda, Mexico, and others. In each of those places, simply being white affords you access to places and opportunities that the majority of the population does not have access to.
