Mexican migrants sent home a record $40 billion in 2020

Money sent home by Mexican migrants rose 11.4% in 2020 to a new high despite the coronavirus pandemic, Mexico’s central bank reported Tuesday.

Any discussion on how much money Filipinos sent home. You know the people in those senior residents looking after the parents you don't want in your homes?

then maybe we get rid of welfare and say work or starve? This country incentives people to be lazy and not work.

It's the left that doesn't understand the difference between a legal immigrant and an illegal alien (no such thing as an undocumented either). As I said, when these leftists write articles they often blur the lines between the two by calling them all simply "migrants" so you can't always tell whom they are referring to.

Of course in this day and age most Americans do not do farm work for a living unless they live in a rural area. We live in a high tech world today with opportunities to gain better paying jobs via education and training. There is no reason to slam Americans for not doing farm jobs when they live in urban areas and picking crops all day is back breaking work and isn't full time work. That's why we have unlimited visas for part time, seasonal foreign workers. There is no justification for hiring illegals to do those jobs.
