But how, in any twisted logic that you're using, is calling a white person the N word in what's apparently a joking situation with a friend...."racist"?
it was filmed by his neighbors ring doorbell camera..those pricks probably sold it to TMZ for who knows how much..nice neighbors huh?..I agree this bs is getting carried away..he's now banned from the upcoming country music awards show..his songs have been taken off the airwaves on over 400 radio stations, and his record label dropped him immediately..he already came out and apologized and admitted how stupid it was of him to say it..it was in the middle of the night with only a couple of his friends around..this n word crap is getting out of control.. a man's whole career should not be ruined by this stupid incident..
this is nuts. I can understand getting this type of backlash if you physically injure someone or treat someone badly based on their skin color but none of that happened here. It was a word used when he thought he had privacy. He didn't even use it in a racial way.
He might be the hottest thing in country music, just released a double album that has 5 of the top 10 country songs on Spotify.. I teach in a rural district and he is all the kids have been talking about the last 2 weeks since released.. this guy isn't going anywhere, this is just a blip brought on by some dumbass neighbor.

So, I'm confused. A white dude, calling another white dude this word is considered racist. Even though there is no context showing that the word was being used in a derogatory manor. So the word itself is derogatory ?
It was about his third incident of crazy behavior. He’d probably end up deceased in some hotel room in about ten years. Maybe he can rehab himself and his career quietly.
