Well it does seem to be a theme of the Left these days where the victims of crime are forgotten and the actual criminals are allowed to shirk personal responsibility and blame someone else from the establishment, to white supremacy oppression, to Trump.
The Dems are not fans of law and order unless it is them that hand their own brand of it down to us.
Case in point. 100 days of riots and billions of dollars in destruction of public and private property with people being hurt and killed is spun as some type of social justice but some clowns swarm the Capital and suddenly they are all domestic terrorists set on murder and tearing down the country?
The Dems are the party of forgive and forget unless your politics lean to the Right and you dare question them.

The difference between rioters at the Capitol and leftist liberals is, they (the Capitol rioters) did not go to to the Capitol with the goal/mission to go after cops.

Many people know who Joanne Chesimard is. She was a career criminal who shot a NJ State Trooper and fled to Cuba. Not sure what the deflection about the 1776 project was about, but she's a criminal and in no way shape or form should her words be honored, because of her character and her actions.
If you want to bring young people up, you give them leaders to look up to. You can't be looking up and honoring criminals at the same time.
