I have no desire to read about conspiracy theories, either.
But the pay makes it all worthwhile.

I agree. This will make the January 6 "riot" at the Capitol just a walk in the park.

So why would this encourage people to get vaccinated then? If it changes nothing?
Dear OP, I've heard that the letters CNN should in reality stand for Constantly Negative News. For your own mental health if nothing else, don't listen to it.
This kind of article really makes me think of just giving up.

There is no "push for a new world order and a power grab". It is a particularly nasty new virus doing what viruses do, with an imperfect attempt to control it. One thing that does need to come out of this is a better response when it happens again.
What, pray tell, is the better response? A lockdown by some other name?

Wear a mask, socially distance, and mind your hand hygiene.

The first two amount to lockdown, since masking does not equal restaurant dining or religious observance. Basically, we never get our lives back.

There are things that can be done long term to improve the restaurant environment, such as improving HVAC systems, and reduce risks. The same can be done in buildings for religious services.

Getting as many people vaccinated as possible is the best route to getting our lives back. I should have included that in my previous post.

There was a study done that bars + restaurants together account for less than 1% of Covid infections.

The vast majority of people are getting Covid in their homes.
