He had zero experience in government prior to taking office. Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden have been doing public service for decades and are extremely qualified to lead our country despite political disagreements.

Maybe the Republicans should stop running such middling candidates that a proto-Marxist like Ossoff and a race-hustler like Warnock could even come within sniffing distance of winning statewide office in a state like Georgia, much less win -- oh yeah, and stop doing end-runs around the state legislature by making back-door deals with the likes of Stacey Abrams to weaken ballot integrity during one of the most fiercely contested elections in our nation's history.

You don't have to worship Trump to stand up to the Democrats' current scorched-earth campaign and say "sorry, I'm not playing your game." Some people know how to walk and chew gum at the same time, even if you and Sasse don't. If he had ambitions for higher office, those dreams are now dead, and I for one am glad for that.
Please, anybody could have beat Hillary. You're not a Republican. You're a Trumpie. Got no damn principles.

The Republicans had the Senate in the bag before that dumbass brought the $2000 stimulus up again.

How much did the federal deficit grow under Trump?

Voted out of office for telling the truth, we need more honest politicians like Sasse. I would say it's those republican Trump apologists that are kissing butts.

Trump had the same experience as President as Hilary and 4 years experience as President during the reelection and Biden had none. Biden and Hillary have a track record of doing the wrong things.

Yeah, all those other "anybodies" couldn't even beat a political neophyte with clown hair who could barely string a coherent sentence together, and you think they could have beat a seasoned, slick political operator like Hillary with all of the institutional and financial backing she had? LOL.

The mistake people like Ben Sasse and you make is thinking the insurgency within the party is about Donald Trump. It's not. It's an uprising against jellyfish like Sasse who WILL. NOT. FIGHT. BACK against the scorched-earth left as they grab control of the institutions of power and influence and use them to increasingly shut Average Joe out of political, economic, cultural, and civic life. Donald Trump just happened to be the person who heard their call and most effectively took up their cause. It's THEM the ponces of Washington like Sasse are afraid of, and they think they can shut those people up by casting Trump out of the political scene.

We'll see about that.

Yeah it seems Ben Sasse spends all his time fighting Republicans rather than Democrats.

It’s all about Trump, they believe anything he says.
These people have no agenda other than this take back our country nonsense. They actually believed he won the election.

I don't see much of a future for the party merely following the Trump brand. They will end up ideologically broken, riding the coat tails of fantasy conspiracy theories. Independents now have a compelling reason not to elect Trump loyalists.
