Can you all just pick a lane and stay in it? You complain about who gets COVID payments and how much people are getting. But when a decision is made to lower income eligibility, making it so less people receive payments, you are quicker to praise the person who opposed that decision.

You are more elated by someone insulting Biden rather than why they are being insulted.

While that is true, Presidents steer it. Especially in a Congress with such slim margins. It isn't like we can expect a veto override on COVID relief. If Biden signals he won't sign it, Democrats in Congress need to work within those bounds. However, there can be pressure applied both ways. If Democrats push through a bill without any Republican support (using reconciliation), it better be what the President wants. But, if they do need to compromise (which they should, but this is a tit-for-tat as usual), the President might need to just take what he can get.

This is all that this thread is about.
The OP and others think that they are scoring points by highlighting that the Dems don’t march in lockstep towards their goals.
No decisions have been made about the cap.
Manchin wants to lower it; Sanders and Yellen do not. Per Yellen, Biden is leaning more towards her point of view.
In any event, it wasn’t Biden who suggested lowering the cap. Biden simply said he was open to arguments for/against.

As with everything, time will tell.

“Appearing on CNN before Sanders, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen signaled she was reluctant to lower the income cap for receiving a full $1,400 payment to $50,000.

“If you think about an elementary school teacher or policeman making $60,000 a year, and faced with children who are out of school, and people who may have had to withdraw from the labor force in order to take care of them ... [Biden] thinks, and I would certainly agree, that it’s appropriate for people there to get support,” she said.”

Interesting because we were led to believe Biden was just a front for Bernie/AOC like politics. Seems not...

Absolutely!

Earlier complaint was Biden is an extreme left wing as he is in Bernie's pocket and country is doomed! Now complaint is Biden is going to do something that rules him out to be Bernie's puppet!! What is more weird is complaints in both cases were made by Trump supporters They just don't know what to believe in since Trump lost his tweeter

If we must have all these stimulus measures, let them cover people up to $100K in combined household income... or even $150K.
I agree it does paint the republicans in a bad way. Ever since McConnell and McCarthy rejected the last few stimulus bills I lost complete respect for republicans. As an independent I agree with things on both sides of the aisle. But I will never be a Democrat or a Republican. And the worst thing about the Democrats is their desire to keep the border wide open. So I see bad in both parties. But I really did lose my respect for Republicans. But I find as much distaste for mad Maxine as I do Moscow Mitch. I only vote got 3rd party candidates anyway.

Correct. The taxpayer provided the funds for "COVID relief".

So wait, wait.

Are you in favor of Bernie or Biden? Because it seems to me that you keep warning us about creeping socialism, yet here's the leading voice of democratic socialism in the United States calling out the "radical communist" Joe Biden.
