I'm still in appeasement phase. My state is "locked down" until Feb 29. I'm going to do my part so it gets lifted then, schools are as in-person as the teachers will allow, and at the end of March I'm getting on a plane for vacation.
There are no lock downs in the US.
That one cannot consume alcohol in a bar after 9:00 PM is not a lockdown.
Requiring certain businesses to close between 10 PM- 5 AM is not a lockdown.

There are partial\specific "lock downs" like schools being remote only or no dine-in eating (although in your current\my former state they aren't really enforcing it).
I would 100% agree that people need to be more specific if they're going to use such a general term.

And why are those not lockdowns? Sound like a form of lockdowns to me.
While Democrats think some man who dresses like a girl can be a woman, we certainly then can call forced closures, lockdowns. And some businesses like nightclubs, were never allowed to open in certain jurisdictions. It's certainly lockdown for them.
I think your link is about someone else. Your man got a shot in New York. The original post is about a 60 yr old man who received his second vaccine in California, and got sick within hours of the vaccine.
"A few hours after his second dose, he had an upset stomach and trouble breathing. By 3:30 p.m., his colleagues walked him to the emergency room to be examined. He sent a text to his wife to let her know he’d be home late."
"Tests for the coronavirus came back negative. A doctor diagnosed him with congestive heart failure. Zook, who was still struggling to breathe, was put on oxygen and then a BiPAP machine to help send air into his lungs. He told his wife he’d be home the next day.
Zook’s health continued to decline. Less than two days later, he went into respiratory distress and had to be placed on a ventilator. He was transferred to the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where his kidneys started to fail. On Jan. 9 — four days after he walked into the emergency room at South Coast Global — Zook had to be resuscitated three times over the course of several hours. He died that afternoon." https://www.latimes.com/california/s...get-vaccinated

Will his cause of death be a result of underlying problems or COVID ?
I say what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
What say you?
I say many died 24 hours after not receiving a vaccination and that someone did is meaningless until autopsy proves the vaccination had some effect contributing to that death.
He didn't die of COVID-19? Then he must have been already seriously sick. The coronavirus must have been the only symptoms popping up. So they gave him the shot. Then the side effects to the vaccine was the nail to the coffin. Until gone.
