I think you need to accept the reality that these were Trump supporters trying to stop our government from doing their job. Antifa never show their face nor would they proudly post pics on social media like many of them did.
The first person arrested in the Capitol was Antifa/BLM.
Trump supporters didn't want the hearing to be interrupted because evidence of election fraud was being presented to the Senate. State legislators were there to testify. The "riot" was well-orchestrated to stop the presentation of the evidence. Trump supporters wanted further investigation of the fraud.
Pelosi planned it. FBi had numerous people instigating it. Identified in docs as Peron 1 2, etc.
Trump offered military/suggested NG, and Pelosi denied them. Tens of thousands of hrs of video were taken, but not released to public, because it shows antifa, and Capitol police breaking in/escorting people in thru open doors.
She was UNARMED and not a threat to the Cop. Why no outrage? Yet, Floyd, a convicted, VIOLENT FELON, high on drugs, resisting arrest is a hero?
Running around the Capital for a few hours is not an insurrection and Trump had nothing to do with it anyway. Wow, you people are round the bend, and brainwashed by far left MEDIA.
The people roaming around the Capitol were unarmed. Hardly an insurrection.

I would suppose by your logic, that LEO all over the country are now able to shoot trespassers dead , with just a warning, and then just tell the families and friends to just go about your business. What kind of a country does that sound like? Is that where you want to live?
If you equate breaking and entering the United States Capitol with breaking and entering "all over the country" then that is a sad commentary.
The fact that there's this laissez faire attitude towards the literal center of the United States Federal government is alarming. Especially from the people who supposedly are part of the "law and order" crowd.
Do you want to live in a place where people are subjects to a person and distort reality to fit a narrative? I don't. Realize that people broke and entered the center of our Republic to try and stop the Vice President from discharging his lawful duties. All of this chaos in the name of an unpopular President who lost an election.
Ashli Babbitt's death could have been prevented. She knew what she was getting into and chose to proceed. She was warned not to enter the area which was in proximity to the number two and many other in the line of succession to the Presidency. She proceeded. I would rather have officers protecting those who need to be protected than sitting around asking for idiots like Babbitt to "please stop" "pretty please". Come on.
But keep deflecting to "breaking and entering all over the country". This is why supporters of President Trump are marginalized and not taken seriously. They literally sell their morals and values to further his cult of personality.
She was a terrorist. I truly believe they would of murdered Pence, Pelosi, and any other congressperson they could if they broke through. Heck, they were chanting how they were going to hang Pence. Bottom line, this was an attack on democracy and the United States of America.

I come here to learn. So teach me mr. expert. I happily admit when I don’t know about a subject. I think you are an expert and opine on constitutional law as well. Another legal category I have much to learn about. I do have a legal background btw but am far far from an expert on these specific topics.
