I'd say they lack real world skills. They have plenty of computer / IT skills but ask them to build something tangible with wood or copper, or to establish a functional business and you will see an ocean of blank stares
Many are indeed, but most though sit back and complain all day about what others are doing and never actually do anything themselves. It follows as a general rule of the human condition that those who least have their house in order find the greatest fault with the houses of others
Says the person on an internet message board complaining and finding fault with others...

I will note that the first user comment below is "says the generation that raised them",
and that person is not wrong. 100% the worst parenting generation on top of it that
gave us this disease. TOTAL dereliction of duty
TV has raised every generation for quite awhile now
There's a lot of info available on the transition. It was begun in the 1960s by the Ed School gurus of the day, so that would make it the left-wing of the Silent Generation (born from 1928 to 1945).
Sound familiar? Ed Schools, their graduates, and their sycophants are still at it... the intentional dumbing-down of the US populace to pursue the goal of "social equity" "equal outcomes."
Doesn't matter. Millennials are still the least capable generation on record. Due to the left-wing Ed School kooks in the 1960s? Sure. But no one subsequently stopped the same exact left-wing Ed School idiocy, since.
Meh. I'm a GenXer, and the Millennials have never bothered me nearly as much as Boomers always have, collectively.
Were Millennials pampered as a generation? Absolutely, but as others have pointed out, who introduced that style of parenting?
Gen X here, and exactly this.
