Anyone who believes this doesn’t follow MSM. If they aren’t talking about it on Fox right now, give it five minutes. It’s every contributor’s go-to whataboutism to justify the Trump riots.

except of course this is completely false, as opposed to the January insurrection where there was a stated purpose to overturn the results of a legal and fair election and threats to kill the then sitting Vice President and leaders in Congress

You can make up whatever you want, but that doesn't mean anyone else has to believe it

Why the Media Completely Ignore Antifa/BLM Violence"

Police Sgt Betsy Smith joins me to explain why the media is obsessively focused on the violence of January 6 but ignores the far greater violence of BLM and Antifa.

Shameful really.
Sort answer, it doesn't. Take the blinders off.

The elected elite are not happy that the fight was taken off Main street and brought literally to their House.

There really isn't much difference between BLM and the Capital instigators. Both groups are not happy with how they are being governed. Both parties want change. Both parties want to be heard. Both parties want to stop being lied to. Both parties are seeking justice.

The "insurrection" is a talking point. There is no way the mob was going to over throw anything that day of Jan 6th. Even if they were able to get into the chamber and get a hold of the electoral votes and destroyed them they would have been simply cast again and counted when things quieted down.

The mob could have taken over the Capital and declared it an autonomous zone as they did in Seattle with CHOP but still the Government would not have been over thrown.

The Dems are so good at crying wolf and the People love to listen to them even though they have been so wrong with so many of the predictions if Trump was elected.

The media is the problem because they are now the propaganda arm of the Left.

The Dems are the ones that have normalized Political Violence. They are just furious that people on the Right took some plays from their book.

Another thing to think about. BLM is protesting police brutality, killing, and difference standards in terms of law enforcement for black people vs white. The Capitol rioters were attempting an insurrection because they lost an election and they hate sharing a society with gay people and icky brown people. Big difference.

What are "icky brown people " ? And my gay friends would probably argue with you on that I hate sharing society with them.

I would ask if you have even the slightest bit of evidence to support this contention, but I already know that you don't. You've moved away from Oklahoma. It's time to let go your pathological hatred of the culture there and move on with your life.

Who said BLM/Antifa didn’t try to overthrow the US government? National Guard troops in and around DC were deployed to DC last summer to protect the White House and Capitol from leftist violence. Despite all that, Secret Service still had to evacuate Trump to the bunker.

The difference between Jan 6 and last summer is there was no National Guard troops present on Jan 6 at the Capitol.

The mainstream media either ignores it or justifies it. Let this sink in; we have a vice-president who promoted a fund to bail out those who were attacking their fellow citizens, burning their businesses down, assaulting and murdering.

It should be an outrage, and it is among sane and decent people, but not the media. They are an arm of the Party who approved the riots.

Well said, and Democrats need to be reminded of this repeatedly.
