After work, I went up to the local pub to have a few beers with familiar faces. There were about fifteen of us of various races and political persuasions, primarily NOT Democrat. But there are a few.
And I already know what you're gonna say.... COVID. Well, we already gave it to each other in December so we are good until at least June. Florida.
And I must say, we were unified as a people on one particular subject: The Gorilla Glue Girl.
I don't think I've experienced more unity and non-partisanship in YEARS as I did this afternoon as we mocked her stupidity.
We all, regardless of politics and race, settled on this thesis: All of us are subject to stupid decisions. As we process the consequences of those decisions, there is none so horrible as being mercilessly ridiculed by our friends.
Yet, GGG stepped up against the ridicule of those that have contributed almost 20K to her GoFundMe account, which obviously is intended to feed and care for her six children and not buy new hair. She did this for us!
Thank you, Gorilla Glue Girl. Thank you for sacrificing your intellect to bring Americans together.
Funny, but when you think about it this already kind of is the strategy of the Democratic Party. To keep their disparate coalition of blacks, college professors, Hispanics, gays, Muslims, feminists, etc. together, they need a stupid/evil "gorilla glue girl" to unite against - working class whites.

You win the thread.
They are not really unified... they just hate the same people. There is a difference.
I got banned from another site for pointing out the irony of this young woman, who surely was aware of the inherent racism in "Aunt Jemima" and "Uncle Ben", thinking that a product called "Gorilla Glue" was a hair product for women of color.
Response: Opinion
The best way to achieve unity
is to defy the policies employed by government
to turn the masses on each other as to distract
from the real problems concerning the Country.
Stop talking about racism.
