From Bloomberg news...

The U.S. government said it will prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity under the Fair Housing Act and investigate complaints against gay, nonbinary, trans and other LGBTQ individuals dating back to Jan. 20, 2020 — retroactive for one year under the current statute of limitation

Agreed. I cannot think of any housing where they only sell to just men, or just women, so why would they be able to not sell to a man who wants to dress like and behave like a woman, or a lesbian. Hell, with trans men being all the rage, lesbians are almost turning into an endangered species.

Of course, biden doesn't need congress, he can push thru whatever he wants thru EO and by instructing his administratively appointed lapdogs to just change existing laws, ignore existing laws, and just flat out make up new laws on the fly.

Has this really been an issue? I never asked my tenants about their sex or sexual preferences. I just needed to know that they paid the rent on time and didn't destroy my house.

Don't understand why this is an issue for some. LGBTQ protections for housing and employment should be a no brainer.

This isn't over don't think; someone caught in net of HUD or other agency investigation is going to sue. Same as with all those bakeries and "gay" wedding cakes.

Didnt realize it was even still legal to discriminate based on those things. Civil rights and anti-discrimination laws need to be protected & enforced if America is to succeed as a nation in the long-term.

Depends on what new way the Biden admin defines as discrimination. Will it mean that an apartment complex without 5% trans and 10% gay, and some percent of the one of the other 52 genders, means the landlords are discriminating? Democrats have a way of taking common sensed ideas and turning them into freak shows that no one can comprehend.
