Democrat Senator AZ Sinema: “I Am Not Going To Support” A Minimum-Wage Hike In Reconciliation Bill
Nancy Pelosi says yes to including the “fight for $15” minimum-wage hike in the COVID-19 relief/stimulus bill. Kyrsten Sinema says not just no, but hell no. And unless Senate Democrats follow Sinema’s lead, Joe Biden’s first major policy initiative might crash and burn before it ever gets off the ground:
Manchin said he'll support $11. At that number it's entirely possible for one or two Repubs to cross over and vote for it, negating Sinema's opposition. Biden is a better negotiator than Trump -- which isn't saying much, Trump rarely negotiated anything. We'll see if a deal gets made or not.

Obama never Negotiated either thus the Pen and Phone comment.
Biden has nothing to do with this, it's all in Congress.
That didn't happen here in California. From 2014 to 2020 the min wage was raised from $8 to $13; at the same time, unemployment fell from 9% to 3.9%.
ah you do realize California is part of the 20% of the country that was mentioned. Wages are already much higher there then the rest of the country, as is everything else. Arizona is a low wage State 15 bucks an hour is pretty good there. And I grew up there and most of my family still lives there.
