There is no weather event that they can say is NOT a part of "global warming."

Pretty convenient, huh?

..the increase in CO2 in the past 50 years has come from China...not from the USA

left up to the USA...CO2 levels would still be "safe"...at below 350ppm

Why are you making excuses for China?

Explain this graph > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ederations.png

================================================== ======
Your graph indicates that China just surpassed the US in 2006, where do you get 50 years?? Besides CO2 generated lasts for hundreds of years, it doesn't just disappear but since China finally passed us it's about China.

The atmosphere already heated 1 degree in 2000, so 325ppm is not a safe level depending on your definition.

The US has made strides since 2000 but we need to do more since we are still 2nd, China needs to d a lot more. It's a mistake to use the worst current offender as a standard since we are number 2, one world, one atmosphere.

Today it's "climate change." Yesterday, it was "global warming." The day before, it was "global dimming." The day before that, it was "global cooling."

Why did you capitalize it, by the way? Very interesting. Usually that suggests a particular significance to the writer. It's not a proper noun or anything.

The name of the movement changes with the times, and they make sure to keep it relative to what's actually being seen in the real world. The movement itself hasn't changed over the decades, even though the "problem" they're pretending to try and solve has literally reversed from cooling to warming. Seriously folks, they literally did a 180 on it, and you still buy the crap. It'd be hilarious, if it wasn't such a serious problem (your believing the narrative, not global warming, climate change, or whatever you want to call the social movement today).

The movement isn't about climate or about the environment. It's about controlling you. That's the ONLY thing which has remained constant throughout the evolution of this movement.

Who? Who said this week's cold snap was part of global warming? This is a typical straw man post.

Call it Global Warming or Global Climate Change, but either way it is concerned with long-term, worldwide changes. A hot spell or a cold snap in one part of the world has nothing to do with it.

CO2 is the completely wrong focus, anyway, and of course Dems and their equally ignorant sycophants don't know any better because they're science deniers.

HFC-23... HFC-23 is used to manufacture fridges and air conditioners, and is vented to the atmosphere during the production of HCFC-22, another chemical used in cooling systems in developing countries."

Power out in West Houston. 14 degrees with winds at 18 mph. Feels like (wind chill) 6 degrees.

Global warming, my foot.

the USA emissions are almost exactly the same as it was 50 years ago

50 years ago....China....started increasing it's CO2 emissions......the USA did not

...almost all of the increase in CO2 has come from China

We were the number one generator of CO2 since the 1870's but China surpassed us in 2006, is your point that we need to do less because China passed us. I'm not defending China already stated they need to do more but they are not an excuse of our behavior, where does it get us if we move backward.
