Texas experiencing record cold. Is this part of global warming (Tennessee, considered)

CO2 is the completely wrong focus, anyway, and of course Dems and their equally ignorant sycophants don't know any better because they're science deniers.
Plenty of research on other gases like methane which is around 20 times more potent than CO2 influencing the environment , luckily it doesn't last as long as CO2. Still CO2 is the primary influencer of climate change.

Plants absorb CO2 from the air, combine it with water and light, and make carbohydrates (their own food)... the process known as photosynthesis. Not so with HFCs. What about 12,400 times more damaging to the earth's climate than CO2 do you not understand?
We were the number one generator of CO2 since the 1870's but China surpassed us in 2006, is your point that we need to do less because China passed us. I'm not defending China already stated they need to do more but they are not an excuse of our behavior, where does it get us if we move backward.
..are you doing this on purpose?
The USA has not been responsible for the increase in CO2 for 50 years....the USA has not increased it's CO2 emissions in 50 years
...no increase in CO2.....no increase in global warming
Almost all of the increase in CO2....and the increase in global warming....has come from China
The piddly amount of CO2 from the USA can no even compare to the amount from China...
that is so lame....only a complete idiot would fall for it
50 years ago...CO2 levels were 325ppm....that was considered safe.....remember 350.org?...we must limit CO2 levels to 350ppm or we're all going to die....if we go over 350 it's irreversible and we're all going to die
..the increase in CO2 in the past 50 years has come from China...not from the USA
left up to the USA...CO2 levels would still be "safe"...at below 350ppm
I hope this isn't off-topic. I was wondering why they say that melting glacier ice raises the ocean levels. When I put ice in a glass with a drink, when the ice melts the glass doesn't overflow. So, how do they figure ?
Are there any nice hills in Texas for the Texans to go skiing.
There are about 20 doves that have been sitting in the cypress tree all day. I am a bit amazed watching them survive something I couldn't.

The Artic ice is not actually in the ocean. When you put ice in your glass and the ice melts, there is more liquid in your glass and so the water rises.

Follow the links to the data. HCF-23 is now up to 34 parts per trillion.
CO2 in the atmosphere is 415 parts per million
That means there is approximately 12 million times more CO2 than HCF-23.
Therefore the problem with CO2 is 12,000,000 / 12,400 = 1000 times worse than HCF-23

That makes sense. Where do icebergs come from then ? What percentage of ice is actually on land ?
P.S. When the ice in a glass melts the glass does not overflow. Ice is frozen water, so the amount of liquid in the glass doesn't change. But I get what you are saying, adding more ice to it.

The Artic ice is not on land. It is an ice sheet. The Antarctic ice is on land. The ice comes from snowfall. The Antarctic is considered a desert, believe it or not, because there is little precipitation. What precipitation there is comes in the form of snow which until the last century, had almost no melting.
For example, if this HFC is 12,000 times more damaging than CO2, but there is 120,000 more CO2 in the air, then CO2 would still be 10x worse problem.
Nope. Why not? Because as noted earlier, plants absorb CO2 from the air, combine it with water and light, and make carbohydrates (their own food)... the process known as photosynthesis. Not so with HFCs. HFCs just build up in the atmosphere.
